HOW DO I GET A SHUBERT?

Its simple! All you have to do is write to Shubert at order.shubert@gmail.com. Click on "FAQ's" to know more or view photos by browsing through "SHUBERT's WORK".

Do it now, someday we'll all be dead.

Kamasutra

..in black and white.

Left shoe with 3 birdies depicts an "embrance" from Khajuraho.

Right shoe with trees shows a position.

What do you think?

Full Moon

I was told to create a red and black pair and I came up with this.

By the way, she's a hag.

Dead Pirate

There you see the floating corpse of a pirate tethered to a sunken ship. The loot rests at the bed from which snakes are rising to claim his body. A lighthouse watches in the distance.

These shoes were inspired by the tattoos of the guy to whom they were gifted. These tattoos (a sun and moon) feature at the back of the right shoe as seals on the bounty bags.

Red Mermaid

Shubert has been working hard at saving the worlds' toes and keeping us too busy to update this website. You must be curious, so here's a little peek.

Shubert's first fan mail!

Hey Shubert,

Well I am a fan of Dilbert and really became a fan when I saw the pics on your blog. Creativity has no limits as it has been proved. Carry on the great work.

As for ordering Shuberts, I will try to paint one myself....if it doesn't work out, i will surely order. :)

Take Care...Keep smiling...Hope you are happy that you have added a fan to your already expanding fan base.

Love, Suman

SHUBERT IN THE NEWS!!

Shubert is delighted! Here's a photo of the article in case you didn't catch it on 24th October in Mid-Day. We're sorry if its blurred; we're still learning how to work our way around pdf's and snapshots.

Thanks a lot, Dhvani. We loved it!

Post-it

Today we spent an inordinately large amount of time trying to change the name of a tab we created on our Facebook page. Alas, we were not successful. If you know how to, please leave a comment. We never lose to the Widgets, we once almost surrendered to a Meta Tag right when our life depended on it, but we're now past that. We're controlling ourselves from turning sidebar tweaking into a religious ritual. It is a temptation that is hard to resist, but all these imaginary comments are keeping us so busy; the filing cabinets are almost full.

We've discovered that virtual post-its aren't too helpful; it's all too easy to hide them from our desktop and push them out of our brainspace altogether. Many tasks lie unchecked while all we can do is dream about the fumes of oil paint varnish and watch one bad movie after another.

Unproductive it has been, but we promise to be back with a few sketches tomorrow.

We should write that down somewhere, perhaps on a post-it?
